HANGING BOLLARD with the "Silence of Harpocrates" in chased gilt bronze and patina. The dial with guilloche background, signed Ravrio in Paris and presents the hours in Roman numerals. The dial is inserted in a terminal, on which leans the God Harpocrates holding with his left hand, a cornucopia, and with his right hand, the gesture of silence. Ornamentation of patinated bronze applique Work of Antoine-André Ravrio, chiseller in Paris from 1759 to 1814. H. 47 ; W. 30, 3 ; D. 12,9 cm (Good condition, as is)
