[IZNIK]
A siliceous ceramic "tabak" dish, decorated in polychrome and red slip on a white background with a jagged "saz" palm surrounded by carnations and tulips in an abundant border of stylised waves. Decorated with a frieze of flowers with a red heart on the rim.
Iznik, second half of the 16th century, circa 1580.
