El Pez (the fish in Spanish), whose real name is José Sabate, is a Spanish graffiti artist born in 1976 in Barcelona, where the 1980 Collective was born and where he met other great names in graffiti. Pez is one of the founders of the Logo Art graffiti movement, which consists of reproducing the same pictogram on city walls to denounce the omnipresence of advertising in the urban public space. He exhibits in London and in the United States.
