Atelier Georges LENFANT, 1930-1940 Bracelet in yellow gold 750 thousandths composed of articulated round and oblong links interspersed with four square links adorned with sugar loaf-cut chrysoprase cabochons set in claw-set. No clasp. French work, diamond hallmark of Atelier Georges LENFANT. Wrist size: 21cm. Mesh width: 1.4cm. P. Gross weight: 38.8g. (Small chips). In the 1930s, Georges Lenfant created gold bracelets with geometric links combined with precious or semi-precious stones. These bracelets could employ a single family of stones - such as our sugar loaf chrysoprase bracelet - or several, playing on bold color combinations. These models were offered to the great jewelry houses of the time, such as Lacloche Frères.
