Painter of lively compositions and landscapes, we know him especially for his brilliant orientalist compositions and representations of Venice. He started in Marseille in 1900 where he exhibited for the first time and from 1913, he travelled and worked in Algeria and Tunisia where he decorated private residences in Tunis and Algiers.
At the Colonial Exhibition of 1931, Vincent Manago exhibited landscapes of Africa and Provence. We also know of many views of Venice and landscapes of the Mediterranean coast which made his reputation.
