Albert LYNCH (1851-1912)

Portrait of a young woman with a red coat Oil on canvas signed lower left. No frame. Size: 41 x 33 cm Provenance : Succession Fulchiron, Monte-Carlo Painter and illustrator of German and Peruvian origin, naturalized French, Albert Lynch studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris under Jules Noël and Albert Ferrier. If he illustrates books of Dumas, Balzac or Becque, the artist knows especially the success at the time of its many exposures, its work being characterized by compositions putting in scene the worldly women of its time. At the end of his life, Albert Lynch settled in Monaco where he died.
