French painter, student of Laurens and Déchenaud at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he also trained at the Louvre admiring Frans Hals, Paul Césanne and Rembrandt. He began by depicting Parisian rooftops and intimist scenes in the manner of Bonnard. He then set up his easel in Cahors and Avignon but also in Italy and the United States. Important permanent collection at the Raoul Dastrac Museum in Aiguillon.
