Italian sculptor born in Florence, he trained at the Academy under Augusto Rivalta and perfected his skills with Victorien-Antoine Bastet in Paris where he settled permanently around 1900. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artiste Français between 1902 and 1923, achieving great success during his lifetime for his graceful female representations.
