In-12: lavaliere half-chagrin with corners, smooth spine decorated, brown morocco title page, untrimmed, gilt head, cover and spine preserved (P. Affolter). First edition. One of the few copies printed on jonquil paper. Autograph signed on the false-title: To Edmond Sée pour Premier Avril his friend Octave Mirbeau Originally from Bayonne, Edmond Sée (1875-1959) was a prolific playwright, as well as a chronicler and theatre critic. Good copy. Joints and corners rubbed.
