A trifid handle, presenting on the A side a richly adorned hoplite. He is wearing a helmet with a very long crest and large paragnathides. He is wearing a short skirt decorated with dots and triangles, a black cuirass covered with a finely draped cloak and tightened at the waist. His sword, still in its scabbard, is visible on his right. He protects his assault with a long spear and a circular shield (aspis). The shield is covered with a piece of leather decorated with two prophylactic eyes. This piece ends with thick trimmings. The legs are covered by cnemids. On the reverse side, a slinger in a short tunic, protected by a cap and a beast's skin, is shown as a shield.
