with three faces in profile. It represents the Man-Jaguar god in profile, the eye wide open, evoking the clairvoyance of this shamanic divinity. The lips, in the form of feline lips, symbolize the power of the Olmec ruling caste, descendant of this primordial divinity. This vase is distinguished by the evocative finesse of its representations; it must have been used during the magic-religious ceremonies that marked the life of the community.
