"New edition", actually the real third ed. (1st ed. of the "Traité": 1716; "Dissertation": 1717; 2nd ed. combining the 2 works: 1723), and not the so-called "third edition" published in 1755. Ill. (complete) with 2 fronts, 1 portrait, and 30 plates (numbered I-XXVI, I-IV), mostly folding. A long plate shows animated views of the "pont de la Guillotière" at Lyon, the "pont royal des Tuileries" at Paris, and the "pont du St Esprit, Languedoc, sur le Rosne".
