MAGRITTE, René Project for "Le Séducteur". Blue pencil drawing, 13.5 x 24 cm, thin vellum 21.5 x 28 cm; unsigned (small tear affecting the design without missing in the lower l. part, edges chipped with small tears). "The Seducer" is a famous painting created by Magritte in 1950, depicting a water boat: a sailboat merging with the sea or the sea continuing into a boat silhouette. This canvas was declined in several forms: a second version in 1953, several gouaches, several drawings in blue ink, 1 lithograph in colors. With the certificate of authenticity issued by the Magritte Committee.
