Paintings, "Landscape",David Estoppey, born in Geneva on September 14, 1862, and died in Geneva on January 4, 1952, is a Swiss artist, painter, designer and lithographer. Born in Geneva in 1862, David Estoppey was a student of Barthélemy Menn from 1881 to 1886. From 1900 he taught at the Geneva School of Fine Arts until 1928. The first works of the painter are impressionists like As evidenced by the oil on canvas "Child reading" then he turns to divisionism of which "Portrait of a woman" is a fine example. However, he will be better known for his neo-impressionist landscape paintings which will be presented during exhibitions. Despite many exhibitions, he will remain a little recognized Swiss painter.
