The bowl-shaped incense burner has a round foot, a large belly and two animal-shaped ears on the sides as handles.
There is a Xuande-Mark written in six characters (大明宣德年制) on its exterior bottom.
Xuande was the reigning emperor in the Ming dynasty and Xuande incense burners were only used for royal court and temples or bestowed on important ministers.
