Description
Portico clock in white marble and bronze, resting on two bronze shpinxes with medal patina, ornamentation in gilt bronze such as knots of passementerie, the dial surmounted by two swans and bouquet of reeds, the base decorated with a frieze of putti, and two masks in medallions. The white enamel dial marked "à Paris", with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the date. Late 18th century work. One hand broken and the other twisted, date hand missing, one foot missing. A wooden clock base is attached. Without key or balance.
