An 1867 model Carl Gustav rolling block rifle
dating: 1850 - 1890 provenance: Norway, Round, rifled, 12.2 mm cal. barrel at the nozzle (cal. declared by the owner 12.7x44R), provided with foresight (and one spare foresight included), clutch for the bayonet, foldaway and adjustable rear sight, with marks 'H.H.', 'J.D.', 'WW', 'C' crowned, 'N.L.' with coeval serial number on the frame. Clean bore, visible groove. Frame with crowned 'C' mark, date '1873', remains of casehardening. Working mechanics. Wooden butt and fore-end. All parts with coeval serial number '21xxx'. Iron mounts; three bands. Iron ramrod. length 135 cm.
