An 1851 model federal percussion carbine with bayonet

dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Swiss, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrel at the nozzle (to be cleaned), with crowned 'BF' mark at the base, Liege test bench marks, adjustable rear sight, foresight and clutch for the bayonet. Forward spring lock. Full, wooden stock with a few restored woodworm holes. Iron mounts, trigger guard with finger support, set trigger. Working mechanics. Iron ramrod. With numbered bayonet (length 61 cm.) and scabbard. Attached are historical notes collected by the owner and information on the marks stamped on the weapon. length 125,5 cm.
