Graduated in 1996 from the Dakar School of Arts, the most prolific artist of his generation in Senegal has marked the last two decades with emblematic exhibitions such as Africa Remixin 2008 at the Centre Pompidou or Les Mutantsat the Musée Dapper in Paris in 2018. Moved by an incredible ability to reinvent himself and to decline forms, colors and symbols to infinity on media as varied as canvas, paper, iron or wood, the artist continues his tireless quest for truth and justice through an exploration of the theme of duality between tradition and modernity.
