Painted during the confinement, this blue-skinned woman's face, like a new Avatar, expresses the restrained softness of a telluric energy with unsuspected strength. A former student of the Ecole des Beaux Art de Paris, Patrick Dumont took, at the turn of the year 2000, the artist's name of Mahadeva, meaning "The great divine" in Sanskrit. Preserved in prestigious private collections, it is also exhibited in Pont-à-Mousson and at the Hôtel Matignon (The birth of the foal).
