Charles Lapicque (French, 1898-1988) "Manoeuvres de nuit", 1958 Canvas signed, dated 58 with a naval anchor, titled on the back. Height 81, width 100 cm. Provenance: - Pescheteau-Badin-Godeau-Leroy; & De Ricqlès sale, Paris, 29 May 2000 - Perrin-Royere-Lajeunesse sale, Versailles 24 April 2005, - private collection, Olivet. Certificate of authenticity from Marc Metayer dated March 5, 2020. This is a good opportunity to detail the bridge and the watchmen, the mast and the radar reflectors, the chimney and the stern, the ship in front in the shadow or the one behind.
