The preparatory drawing of this same composition is in the collections of the Paul-Dupuy Museum in Toulouse (see the catalogue of the exhibition Acquisitions 1990-2002 Toulouse, Paul-Dupuy Museum, 2002, n°15, reproduced). In 1737, the same painter proposed another Annunciation for the heart of the chapel of the Carmelites in Toulouse. These works earned this former student of Antoine Rivalz a great reputation in the Toulouse region.
