Three fans, the first a c 1870/80’s white Mother of Pearl example, the guards and gorge decoratively pierced and the central gorge backed with thin pearl in green and pink, the leaf of Brussels Appliqué lace on net, in a floral design, backed with cream gauze, the upper guard etched with the name “Jan Wander??yt”, guard approx. 10.5 inches or 26.5cm; a first quarter 20th century Mixed Brussels lace fan with minute fillings, the lace border enclosing three painted gauze panels showing two ladies and a gentleman in 18th c dress, the leaf mounted on carved and pierced pale pink Mother of Pearl with gilding, guard approx. 8 5/8 inches or 22cm; and an abalone shell early 20th century fan, the cream silk leaf painted with very delicate Spring flowers and embroidered with tiny starry spangles, guard approx. 9 inches or 23cm (3)
