He has transmitted, with a special recommendation, his colleague's request to his successor at the health service of the colonies... "Circumstances have led me to leave have led me to leave - temporarily at least - the circumstances have led me to leave - temporarily at least - the health service. I have been put out of the service, at the disposal of Mr. Pasteur to come and found and direct in Lille a Pasteur Institute created here by public subscription"... A L.A.S. to a young lady is attached (1925).
