Cartel and lamp base in wood and Boulle-type marquetry, the blue enameled Roman numeral dial marked Leroy Paris, adorned with two female allegories and surmounted by Athena. Beautiful gilt bronze trim: cassolettes, male busts, mascaron, acanthus and laurel leaves. Movement by Vingenti, silver medal 1855. Sun pendulum. With key and stamp. Accidents and missing parts, restorations, parts to be reattached. Cartel: 84 x 38 x 15 cm. Lamp base: 31 x 46 x 25 cm.

Gilt bronze wall-mounted chased cartel decorated on the sides with rams' heads, mascarons and stylized flora, it is adorned with draperies and Regency motifs. Enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The cartel and lamp base form a bronze set. With key, gong and pendulum. Napoleon III period Reference: This is a replica of a cartel attributed to André-Charles Boulle, a cabinetmaker, foundryman and gilder under Louis XIV, in the Metropoliatn Museum.
