Large hardwood Churinga with traces of red ochre pigments, old patina and marks of use. It is carved with a rich decoration of concentric motifs of unequal sizes symbolizing the importance of each ceremonial area, the crescent motifs evoke a sacred space and the undulating paths the paths to be followed to access the knowledge of the ancestral mythology.
