Born into a family of antique dealers specializing in Italian Renaissance bronzes, sculpture has always been part of Élisabeth CIBOT's environment. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, she has received numerous public commissions and exhibited all over the world. Drawing her inspiration from both her studies in archaeology and her past as a dancer, she gives her sculptures an airy gesture, captures the sensuality of bodies in original postures and restores life in movement.
