Textual reprint of the original of Les Précieuses ridicules by Louis Lacour for the Académie des bibliophiles. Beautiful binding signed Chambolle-Duru in red morocco, spine with nerfs decorated with small irons, triple filleted frame on the boards, gilt filleting on the edges, interior lace, all edges gilt. Provenances: Émile Levavasseur (1808-1891) attested by his bookplate engraved by Stern and drawn in blue, pasted on the reverse side of the cover, then A. Leher, attested by his bookplate engraved on the reverse of the second board.
