VIETNAM, XIXe siècle, Important autel en bois laqué et doré
resting on four sculpted feet, it is composed of three planes, each with openwork panels carved with a rich decoration of bouquets of flowers, auspicious gifts and mythological animals. In the upper part of the façade, two dragons face the sacred pearl. The interior is decorated with a lacquered wooden support to accommodate a deity. Height : 210 cm Width : 188 cm Depth : 115 cm (missing, some elements to be glued back) Provenance: Brought back by the owner's parents, stationed in Vietnam during the 20th century.
