General Krasnov sends texts of these open letters to A.Balashov, who takes care of their printing and distribution. Krasnov tells about the news from the Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich, gives his opinion on questions of the functioning and financing of the brotherhood. "The death of General Wrangel is a tragedy for Russian affairs. General Kutepov will really have to apply himself to make the General Union of Russian Fighters combatant because at the moment it is rather a mutual assistance union and they do nothing for their real role." The correspondence shows all the problems faced by the brotherhood in the 1930s when power was divided between several camps. Balashov asks for the help of General Krasnov to save the Brotherhood. The general remains among the last true generals of the civil war and his influence is still great enough on the emigration to be able to unite it. "Be like the true father, listen to me. With all the strength of my heart and the hearts of other old brothers who think like me. I beg you, come back to the brotherhood. Calm everyone down and revive the brotherhood. We await your approval (...)." Although General Krasnov's departure from the brotherhood was a hard decision for him, he considers that times have changed and refuses to take the place of "Brother №1". "All the communists, the komsomolets, all those scum who don't believe in God. We must put them in a bag and throw them into the water!" General P. Krasnov КРАС
