NO RESERVE - AN ANTIQUE WILLIAM IV PEARL AND ENAMEL MOURNING LOCKET RING, 1836 in 18ct yellow gold, the shield shaped face applied with a forget me not flower motif, jewelled with an old cut paste gemstone and pearls, against a ground of black enamel, the reverse of the head of the ring with a glass covered locket panel (the glass with some damage), containing hairwork, with engraving "Jane Copeman Mt 24 June 1837 At 27", maker's mark WE, full British hallmarks for London 1836, size O / 7, 2.8g.
