Quattro piccoli busti Vienna, Manifattura Imperiale, 1798 circa
Biscuit porcelain. Brand: shield in blue; engraved numbers "98". Height about 16.3 cm. Conservation: very good; some small chipping to the lower edge of the bases, , On a plinth base, on which is traced in gold the name of the person depicted, rests the head taken from busts of the Roman era. One bust depicts the Greek philosopher Democritus, the other three respectively Marcus Aurelius Augustus (Roman emperor, philosopher and writer), Germanicus (Roman politician and soldier) and Antoninus Pius (Roman emperor)
