Footnote: Note: Eric French was the nephew of the Glasgow artist Annie French. Eric was very close to his aunt who encouraged his creativity. Towards the end of her life, she moved to Jersey to be close to her nephew and his mother and painted alongside him. Her influence can clearly be seen in this picture.
