sepia wash on paper, later framed,186cm x 63cm; and 218cm x 63cm; and another STAINED GLASS CARTOON, sepia wash on paper, later framed, 150cm x 60cm (Qty: 3) Qty: (3) Note: Two of the cartoons in the present lot were made for a window depicting scenes from the life of Joseph in St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh. The completed window, dating to around 1896, is comprised of four pointed trefoiled lights arranged in two stages with tracery and bears the inscription ‘To the Glory of God and in Memory of/ Alexander Stewart Born at New Rattray/ Blairgowrie 26th July 1822/ Died Edinburgh 13th Nov 1896.’
