Description

Los Angeles 1984. Edwin Moses, 400m hurdles © André Lecoq/L'Équipe 5 August 1984. If there was a gold medal for consistency and constancy, it would go to Edwin Moses. Undefeated for seven years and Olympic champion in the 400m hurdles in 1976, the American hurdler won his 105th victory here, his 89th consecutive final. In thirteen strides between each hurdle, always. At the age of 33, Moses lined up again in Seoul in 1988 to win bronze, although he was dreaming of a treble, which the American boycott of the Moscow Games probably deprived him of. It took the Cold War to stop him. Single later print. Edition 1/1. Printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Satin 300g paper. Flamant art frame. 53 X 80 cm
