Mexico City 1968. 4x100m © André Lecoq/L'Équipe 20 October 1968. Last relay of the 4x100m. In the foreground, Piquemal had just taken the lead and passed the baton to Bambuck, who was suffering from angina and could not resist the Cubans... when Jim Hines, over there in lane 2, put everyone in agreement, thus completing the triumph of the American sprint, which set a new world record. Nevertheless, the French relay (Gérard Fenouil, Jocelyn Delecour, Claude Piquemal, Roger Bambuck) kept its rank: bronze medal, as in Tokyo in 1964, with a European record. Single later print. Edition 1/1. Black and white print in piezography on Awagami Bizan White Medium Handmade 200g paper. Flamant art frame. Floating box made to measure. 42 X 59,5 cm
