CARTIER France (TANK BEC AIGLE - DUOPLAN / YELLOW GOLD n° 28730), circa 1950 Elegant and rare watch from the Tank collection, known as the "Bec d'aigle" model, named after the first armoured vehicles of the 1920s. Rectangular case in 18K yellow gold (750 thousandths) with eagle's beak handles and back screwed on the caseband (stamped and numbered on both sides of the case). White dial signed France at 6 o'clock in the Art Deco style with Roman numerals and railway. Blued steel sword hands and winding mechanism on the back of the case (characteristic of the Duoplan calibre). Bracelet of order of time with articulated links stylized skin of snake in pink gold 18 carats (750 thousandths) with flat clasp (punched and punch of French master S Leaf of ivy C). Movement: Mechanical caliber of rectangular form with winding Duoplan signed JAEGER / 11BF / 409 (Production between 1929 and 1962) Swiss. Size: 24 x 30 mm. Condition: Very good aesthetic condition - Caliber to be revised. (Gross weight 45,10 g).
