Superb picture bible containing 2 title-frontispices and 212 etched plates, 28 of which are double-page, executed after drawings by Bernard Picart, Gérard Hoet and Arnold Houbraken. The captions are in six languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Latin and Hebrew.

Hinges cracked, missing headpieces and corners, scuffing on boards, a few quires partially unbound, small scratches on one plate.
