Breviarium ecclesiæ rotomagensis. Pars autumnalis. Rouen, Jore, 1728. In-12, midnight blue morocco, large gilt lace, coat of arms in the centre, ornamented spine, red morocco lining decorated with a gilt lace, gilt edges (Period binding). Breviary for the use of Rouen published by order of Archbishop Louis de La Vergne-Montenard de Tressan (1670-1733), primate of Normandy from 1723 to his death. Sumptuous binding in blue morocco lined with red morocco with the arms of Talleyrand-Périgord. The armorial iron, pushed in the second half of the 18th century, belonged either to the Count of Périgord, named Gabriel-Marie (1726-1795), or to his younger half-brother, the Count of Talleyrand, named Charles-Daniel (1734-1788). Dry stamp with the initials GDV on the title. Pars autumnalis presented alone, that is to say one volume out of four. Insignificant repairs to the corners. OHR, 1944/2.
