GUERIDON of round shape in moulded walnut richly inlaid with a star and friezes on the top. Turned and inlaid baluster shaft finished by three scalloped feet. Italian work, 19th century. We can imagine that Captain Desury brought back this pedestal table during the stopover in Naples of the "Saint-Louis" in December-January 1844-45.
