Description
A sea green marble and chased and gilded bronze CHIMNEY. It is composed of : - A clock with a central terminal, with a white enamel annular dial with Roman and Arabic numerals in black, topped by a vase and framed by the Horses of Marly after Coustou. It rests on a rectangular stepped base with a bas-relief of Phaeton on his chariot. - A pair of baluster vases with lion's head handles decorated with palmettes, phytomorphic caryatids and bas-reliefs in the style of Clodion.
