Signed by the artist on the back: "For Madame Ernest Simon with my very friendly feelings and my most sincere wishes". Height : 26 cm. Width : 31,5 cm. (At sight). The Metropolitan Museum of New-York keeps a study by Segonzac for the Education Sentimentale. This work of Gustave Flaubert was republished in 1922 on the occasion of his centenary and illustrated by Dunoyer de Segonzac for this occasion. Provenance: - Gift of the artist, Ernest Simon collection, Paris. - By descent, property of Morbihan.
