André DUNOYER DE SEGONZAC (Boussy-Saint-Antoine, 1884 - Paris, 1974) Suite in color and suite in black of the illustrations by Dunoyer de Ségonzac for "Côtes Rôties, 1928-1938" by Léon Paul Fargue. Without the text. (Paris, Textes et Prétextes, 1949). 2 volumes large in-4° (340 X 265 mm), in sheets, under white covers, placed under a cover illustrated with a large lithograph in black; cardboard folder and cardboard case. New condition. The book was still in its wrapping paper, which we had to unpack for the collation. A) Suite in colours with a proof on China of the three etchings, one of which is unused. (3 etchings on China paper, 46 lithographs in colour, 32 full-page and 14 double-page, printed on BFK paper from Rives). B) Suite of 46 lithographs in black, on BFK de Rives. Monod (4454) indicates an edition of 240 copies on Arches paper, without giving an edition with suite. These suites probably belong to a first edition, of which we have not found a reference. Very decorative illustrations. Provenance: - Ernest Simon Collection, Paris. - By descent, property of Morbihan.
