André DUNOYER DE SEGONZAC (Boussy-Saint-Antoine, 1884 - Paris, 1974) "Twenty-four drawings on Scheherazade (Russian Ballet)" by Dunoyer de Segonzac. Price two francs. To be found "A Schéhérazade", 9 rue Dupuytren, 9. In Paris. [François Bernouard, 1910]. In-8 square (body of the book : 163 X 163 mm. Illustrated covers : 190 X 180 mm), stapled. 24 unnumbered pages, i.e. 12 stapled leaves, bound with a blue silk cord. (Edge of the covers wrinkled ; missing circa 1 cm2 in the lower corner of the first cover. Slight trace of rust left by a staple, on the back cover. Perfect condition inside. 24 lithographic illustrations in black, plus the two illustrations on the covers. Small number of copies on strong watermarked laid paper MLC Annonay. First edition. Monod (n°4105) has not seen a copy and only quotes Dassonville, 'Catalogue des impressions de feu M. François Bernouard', which gives an edition of 32 copies only: 15 Japon numbered and 17 Hollande Van Gelder. Nice mailing on the title "For Monsieur Simon, these drawings made at Diaghilev's Ballets Russes at the Opera in 1910. This booklet is my first illustrated book, printed by Bernouard.
