In 2009, the Chinese SMG (Shanghai Media Group) commissioned Georges Saulterre and Jean-Gabriel Tordjman to create a show for the opening of their ART Channel, dedicated to the arts of all kinds. The show was a privileged moment where, along with projections, a giant sculpture by Saulterre appeared on stage. As a result of this show, the sculptor was awarded the "12 Greatest Foreign Artists (no, Chinese too)" prize. The video here is a sequence from the projection. As if in a dream, strange sculpted figures watch a traditional Chinese film. The performance is both in the room and on the screen, until the one merges into the other.
