TIFF file 6355x4650 109MB Dominated by the Eiffel Tower, the quays of the Seine appear through the graffitied window of an abandoned barge. The signs inscribe their graphics on the glass like on a cinema screen. Raw, enigmatic, authentic, they contrast in an unusual way with the landscape behind, and seem to come from a very old civilization. Graffiti, these signs in the city, mark the passage of civilization, often unseen. Perhaps they will be the most significant survivor?
