On October 3, 2018, a Giant was installed in Berlin on the Brandenburg Gate for the German National Day celebrating the 28th anniversary of the country's reunification.
JR used an archive photograph by Iris Hesse on November 10, 1989, during the fall of the Berlin Wall on this place symbolizing the division and then the reunification of Germany.
