Christ portrayed bust-length, facing the viewer directly, with a severe expression, his hair terminating in curls laid on his left shoulder. Painted traditionally with deep colours. Overlaid with heavy silver-gilt and niello riza, chased with a repetitive floral motif. The halo and the name plates with niello lettering. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'PR' in Cyrillic. The border restored. On the reverse old label: 'STAMP OF THE HEAD OF ST.
