Edition printed at 100 copies on vellum pur fil à la forme des papeteries du Marais, illustrated with 238 etchings and 244 woodcuts. 2 volumes present two suites of engravings with remarks.
The paper presented for the printing, made by Coulouma, one of the best printers of the time, was made especially for the edition, watermarked with a drawing by Gus Bofa.
The copy we present is number 1, printed for J. Puech.
One of Gus Bofa's most ambitious and successful creations. It is the rarest and most sought after.
