PETIT PICHET (MASHRABE) AUX RINCEAUX DE PALMETTES

EASTERN IRAN, TIMURID ART, late 15th CENTURY Pitcher with a bulbous body on a small heel, with a high cylindrical neck and S-shaped handle, made of red tinned copper with engraved decoration. The body and the neck are decorated with a continuous frieze of interlacing three-lobed palmettes and fleurons on a hatched background. A RARE TINNED COPPER ENGRAVED SMALL JUG, EASTERN PERSIA, TIMURID, LATE 15TH CENTURY.
